Day 13 – Ruchika’s Mantra – Explore
Vastu Through My Lens – RuchikaDesign
Exploration is the first conversation we have with our inner calling.
It’s easy to jump into action, to start something because it looks good on paper or works well for others. But before the first step is taken, there is value — deep value — in exploring. What do you want to do in life? What feels aligned with who you are becoming?
Exploration is not about having all the answers — it’s about asking the right questions.
It’s about reading, observing, listening, feeling. It’s about researching beyond the surface and stepping into the unknown with openness.
And as you explore, write. Write down your reflections, what moved you, what didn’t, what clicked, and what confused you. Writing becomes the mirror for the journey — revealing patterns, shifts, and clarity that often go unnoticed in the rush.
In Vastu, exploration is not limited to the outer world.
It starts with you.
Each of us is governed by certain elements — the core energies that define how we think, move, respond, and grow. When we know our dominant element, we begin to understand the direction we are naturally drawn to, and why.
For example, a person with a strong Agni (fire) element might feel pulled towards transformation, leadership, and creative expression — their journey of exploration would be very different from someone with a dominant Jala (water) element, who is guided by emotion, depth, and flow.
When we explore with awareness of our elemental nature, we don’t get lost.
We begin to recognize our purpose not as a fixed goal, but as a living rhythm we are meant to dance to.
So today, take a moment.
Ask yourself:
-
What am I curious about?
-
What draws my attention again and again?
-
Have I truly explored what I want to do — or have I only followed what’s familiar?
Let your answers guide your next step — not as a destination, but as an exploration
Before jumping into what you think you want to do, pause.
Sit with yourself. Close your eyes.
Chant your favourite mantra — the one that centers you, calms the noise, and reconnects you with your truth.
Let the vibrations of your chant settle your thoughts and soften the edges of restlessness.
Then, when you’re ready, meditate — even for a few quiet minutes. Breathe into stillness. In that calm space, you’ll begin to sense what feels aligned, what feels exciting, and what feels authentic.
Now write.
Write your intention, not as a task list, but as a whisper from your heart.
What are you drawn to explore?
Where is your curiosity gently pulling you?
What truth is seeking your attention right now?
As you write, let it be honest. Let it be raw. Let it be yours.
In the lens of Vastu, this act of exploration becomes even more meaningful when you are aware of your elemental nature. When you understand your dominant element — be it fire, air, water, earth, or space — you begin to explore in alignment with your true direction and purpose.
Remember, this process isn’t about reaching the final answer.
It’s about creating space to listen to the one voice that matters most: your own.
Try this practice today — chant, meditate, write.
And if anything stirs within you, if any questions arise… I’m here.
Share them with me.
